Role and Responsibilities :

·        Design, Code, Test and Deliver software as a member of our global product team

·        Problem-solve, multitask, work independently or collaboratively with colleagues to shared goals

·        Participate in code reviews, explain design and coding decisions, accept feedback constructively

·        Write internal documentation, perform knowledge-transfers to tech-writers, conduct demos

·        Participate in all Scrum ceremonies

·        Learn new technologies quickly

·        Be excellent to your colleagues and demand the same of them

Required professional and Technical Expertise :

·        Prior experience in a startup or highly entrepreneurial environment

·        Desire to work with a high degree of autonomy and accountability in fast-paced startup

·        3+ plus years of software engineer experience using Java 1.8 or above

·        Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Test-Driven Development (TDD) with Junit or similar

·        Technical proficiency with REST, Spring Boot/Batch/Cloud, RDBMS, NoSQL, XML, JSON, HTML, CSS, bootstrap, JavaScript, JQuery, regular expressions, and Tomcat or Jetty

·        Proficiency in Linux and Windows OS, including shell scripting, SSH, FTP, etc.

·        Knowledge of Jira, Git, Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, Microsoft Office and or GSuite

·        Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

·        Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

·        Public Cloud experience preferred, Engineer or Architect Certification is a bonus

Knowledge and or experience with mainframe technologies and or languages is a bonus

-      Graduate in Engineering or Science (or) Post Graduate in Computer Applications (Or) Master of Science in Computer Science
