WordPress Developer

As WordPress Developer, you’ll get to:

● Be responsible for continual Conversion Rate Optimization of our paid and organic landing pages

● Develop all code and content for Pangea’s customer-facing websites, landing pages, and emails.

● Audit the website to determine and make technical improvements to the site to ensure fast page loading times (web and mobile), and ensure SEO-friendliness of all content.

● Work with internal creative team leads and our SEO agency partner to determine and manage priorities.

● Manage project expectations from kick-off thru launch and communicate any changes or difficulties to stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have:

● 3+ years of experience in website development.

● 3+ years of experience building content in WordPress, including Custom Themes and Plugins.

● Strong knowledge of HTML5, Javascript, CSS3, and PHP (or related server-side scripting language).

● First-hand experience with responsive page design and mobile-first content development.

● Familiarity with visual design and UX principles to continually improve landing page and email conversion through A/B testing.

● Experience leveraging APIs to build dynamic content.

● Familiarity with cross-browser, cross-platform testing, and debugging.

● Deep experience with SEO audits, best practices; experience making SEO improvements to websites to improve site rankings and conversion

● A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Marketing, Business, Design or equivalent experience.

Bonus points if you have:

● In-depth knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google Search Console.
