Video Editor

Salvi Media Llc is looking for a video editor with a strong passion for storytelling and the editing process. As the video editor, you will work with our in-house video production team alongside our creative and account teams to assemble footage for broadcast commercials, social and web videos and documentaries.

We're looking for a skilled storyteller and technician, someone who knows how to craft video, color and graphics. The ideal candidate is a leader and a collaborator. They will take ownership of a project from pre-production while working with our cross-functional teams, through the post-production process, while meeting deadlines along the way. This person needs to be curious, innovative, driven and flexible.

Responsibilities

*Conceive, craft and execute dynamic video edits from start to finish.

*Collaborate with multiple teams to ensure project expectations are aligned and met.

*Create supporting assets including motion graphics, visual effects and sound design.

*Strong finishing editing capabilities, including color grading and mastering.

*Ultimately, transforming raw video footage and assets into compelling, dynamic and emotive stories.

Requirements

* 5+ years of video editing experience using Premiere and After Effects

* Advanced understanding of Davinci Suite, Photoshop and Lightroom

* Exceptional technical skills and knowledge of motion graphics animation including 2D, rotoscoping, keying, tracking and compositing

Proven knowledge and experience with storytelling across multiple styles (corporate, commercial, documentary, etc.)

* Be a team player who enjoys collaborating in a creative environment

* Be able to pivot quickly to meet shifting priorities and requirements

* Communicate effectively and efficiently with other teams, and elevate issues quickly to prevent delays in production.
