AWS Cloud Security Engineer

Certifications (Must): AWS Solutions Architect and AWS Security Specialty.

The ideal candidate is someone with hands-on, current AWS cloud security experience in a modern, microservices-based environment. They should have the ability to design, document, and implement solutions that represent the best practices in security engineering for enterprise-scale cloud-based solutions. The position involves working with the security teams and the ISOs to establish, implement, and verify controls while assisting the project-level teams with implementing and documenting the control requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Work cross-functionally to assess risk and help deliver countermeasures that protect customers and company data in AWS Cloud Environment.
• Work with Digital & IT teams to create solutions that solve or remediate security problems in cloud applications created in AWS.
• Review role-based access given to Digital / IT Teams / Business Partners and its impact on other assets in AWS.
• Review and configure policies to protect AWS assets, Data & services like S3, ECs, Redshift, NACLs.
• Share his recommendations to peers, IT / Digital managers, in order to drive compliance in the form of data classification, regulatory obligations, and other security goals.
• Configure and Manage Cloud Infra Management Tool / software, integrate all Cloud Accounts and ensure all High Risks / Alerts are mitigated with the help of IT/Digital / other stakeholders.
• Co-ordinate with AWS for Security Architecture of deployed services and other issues identified by Trusted Advisor Server.
• Experience working with AWS security capabilities (WAF, GuardDuty, Security Groups, IAM, etc.)
• Knowledge of the NIST Cyber Security Framework
• Work with the security team to ensure that the AWS cloud infrastructure has robust monitoring and assist with triage of incoming reports

Skills & Qualifications:

• Overall Experience : 6 Years..
• Minimum of 4 years experience providing security engineering services as a Cloud Security Engineer
• Familiarity and experience with common DevOps tools and practices: Git, Continuous Integration, and Deployment
• Experience with OCI containers and related tools (Docker, Podman, etc.)
• Networking experience
• Expertise in provisioning and securing AWS infrastructure
• Security auditing tools and techniques for cloud infrastructure, networking, and Linux services
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English
