Main Responsibilities

 Generating error-free code and compliance of SOW

 Be an active part in the technical revolution and technical transformation in the company

 Handle queries and technical issues of clients

 Doing impact analysis

 Be flexible to manage projects on varied technologies

 Ensure that development standards, policies, and procedures are adhered to.

 Drive change to implement efficient and effective strategies as advised by management

 Develop and implement IT standards and procedures to aid in the development of high-quality software. Ensure that all Engineers within the team understand and follow existing IT standards.

 Work closely with other team leaders and development teams when necessary to create software that is cohesive.

 Actively contribute to the process of continual improvement, with regard to self, team, and systems

 Raise alerts to management about risk factors

 Managing code & documentation repository for the project on various development environments

Skills

 Magento (minimum of 5 years experience with Magento 2)

 PHP

 OOP, MVC, and ORM

 Zend, Symfony

 JavaScript and its libraries/frameworks

 MySQL

 HTML and CSS core understanding

Desirable Skills

 Understanding of Magento framework/architecture

 Module creation

 JavaScript – jQuery, Prototype, JSON

 Git / Version Control – Branching and merging workflows. Working with remotes, git-flow

Qualification:

 Certified Magento developer (Preferred)
