Sr Backend Developer

We are looking for a software engineer/developer to join our cutting-edge development team as it grows.

The ideal candidate is a divergent thinker who understands industry best practices and has experience with multiple coding languages. They are a team player possessing strong analytical as well as technical skills, and are able to communicate the logic behind technical decisions to non-tech stakeholders. They must be comfortable working in an agile environment and have the ability to “take the wheel” when necessary.

Responsibilities

● Implementing Rest API’s and GraphQL Queries in node js

● Building reusable code and libraries for future use

● Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability

● Implementation of security and data protection

● Design and implementation of data storage solutions Skills

● Strong proficiency with TypeScript

● Knowledge of Node Js, Express Js, GraphQl, server-side scripting and JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks

● Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds

● Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, and CSS3

● Understanding accessibility and security compliance

● User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments

● Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system

● Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application

● Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs. desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform

● Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes

● Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests

● Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
