Security Engineer

This position works closely with key business partners and technology teams to provide oversight and governance to projects and manage changes within the environment to ensure consistent 

implementation and effectiveness of security controls.

This position will work closely with the Global Security leadership team, technical partners, and 

business groups to develop solutions and security strategy for the enterprise. Will be accountable

for developing and documenting reference engineering designs and product/service roadmaps to support initiatives. Will also support large-scale enterprise technical projects with high visibility. This position requires a person with hands-on Information Systems Security Engineering/Cybersecurity Engineering experience with system hardening, Risk Management Framework, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and security control implementation. The Security Engineer will be responsible for 

development, coordination, and execution of cyber security solutions and providing security 

governance and oversight in support of overall security strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• This role will ensure technology, systems, processes, and practices, have security defined,

integrated, and implemented, according to the client’s security framework to identify, 

protect, detect, respond, and recover from security events.

• The Security Engineer together with the security team, broader tech team, and additional

stakeholders, ensure that risk-based controls are implemented

• Devise reasonable security controls to protect systems and align with business objectives

• Draw on cloud-native best practices to help build, develop, integrate, or otherwise

implement solutions that protect the business

• Participate in development and evaluation of security toolsets to develop security

capabilities

• Develop, manage, and consult on the technical architecture for enterprise security controls

• Partner with business and technology operations groups to manage and maintain the

security technology stack (identity solutions, cloud capabilities, audit tools)

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline, or

equivalent experience

• Min 5 years' experience in an IT role

• 2 years of IT Security and/or security engineering experience

• 1 years of hands-on experience in Cloud Security Environment

• Strong technical knowledge and ability to continuously learn new techniques, tactics and

procedures

• Experience in providing technical security guidance to technical and non-technical audiences

• Experience with security frameworks such as ISO27001 and NIST CSF

• Preferred Requirements (experience in one or more) Security or Risk-related certifications

(CRISC, CISSP, CISA, etc.)
