Senior Frontend Developer

Job Description:

We are looking for a senior javascript developer who can work on VueJS and Quasar framework for hybrid app development while employing agile methodologies. Day to day, you will be responsible for all frontend aspects, from designing complex applications to ensuring a positive user experience by analyzing code. Our ideal candidate needs to have a keen eye to understand visual design and wireframes provided by the UI/UX team here. You need to have the ability to create clean, sharp, and responsive layouts from visual designs with HTML5, CSS, and Javascript. As a senior javascript developer, you will be joining an amazing team that has constantly challenged working with the latest technologies, creating life-changing solutions, and having a great time doing it.

Responsibilities:

1. Work on programming tasks assigned to you on the scrum board.

2. Write unit test cases in projects.

3. Take the lead on projects as needed.

4. Participate in sprint planning.

5. Review merge/pull requests raised by your teammates.

6. Attend daily standups.

7. Mentor and help freshers in your team.

8. Collaborate with back-end developers in your project to discuss API specifications.

9. Collaborate with DevOps engineers to discuss issues related to CI-CD and infrastructure.

10. Collaborate with the project/product managers to understand requirements and deadlines for the project.

11. Brainstorm with your teammates on the implementation of design patterns and architecture.

12. Break visual designs into reusable components in VueJS.

13. Take decisions on packages to be used in a project.

14. Release apps on Apple/Google mobile app stores. 

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in computer science or a related field.

2. 4+ years of work experience in software development using agile methodologies.

3. Excellent communication, project, and time management skills.

4. Strong understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, HTTP headers, HTTP caching, and JWT tokens.

5. 2+ years of experience with the VueJS framework.

6. Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript.

7. Strong understanding of Chrome Developer Tools.

8. Experience in using VSCode for development and debugging.

9. Experience in using Cordova/CapacitorJS to build hybrid applications.

10. Experience of using Postman.

11. Basic understanding of Firebase and Stripe JS SDK will be considered a bonus point.

12. Strong understanding of git commands. You must have experience of using GitLab/GitHub.

13. Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.

14. Basic understanding of containers and Docker.
