Junior Java Developer

Overview

We are looking for talented Java developers to work on cutting edge technologies and products like the Cloud, Microservices and Open API ecosystem for reputed Financial and Insurance companies. This candidate will be proficient in Java fundamentals as well as have experience in Microservices, REST APIs & Spring framework. 

Responsibilities 

• Low level design for features and stories 
• Develop and unit test code using Spring framework, APIs and (Basic Knowledge Microservices)
• Focus on high code quality and unit test coverage 
• Should be well versed with Continuous integration and delivery for building Java applications 
• Should have good learning attitude and teamwork to collaborate and achieve as a team 

Skills 

• Efficient communication skills and a can-do attitude 
• Bachelors or master’s degree in science and/or Engineering domain with a working experience between 2 - 4 years’ experience 
• Hands on proficiency in Java, with an in-depth knowledge of different frameworks like Spring, Micro-services, Hibernate and REST services 
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process 
• Familiar with various design and architectural patterns 
• Knowledge of SQL, Oracle Database, (NoSQL, MongoDB is Plus)
• Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery tool like Github.
• Knowledge of any Middleware like Apache Camel, JBoss will be a plus 
• Knowledge of any Cloud ecosystem like AWS, Azure will be a plus 
• Knowledge of security in java will be a plus
