Senior Python Developer

About the role and responsibilities

▪ Candidate’s primary focus will be the development of web applications,

▪ With a level of familiarity with malicious code and common techniques used by hacker’s performance and

▪ Responsiveness to requests from the front-end.

▪ Expert in Python, with proficiency in Django is preferred.

Candidate Key Skills and Qualifications

▪ Very Strong System design and OO skills with a nifty ability to craft clean interfaces and operate at the right levels of abstraction.

▪ Good knowledge, understanding & experience of working with a large variety of multitier architectures. Awareness of pitfalls & use cases for a large variety of solutions

▪ Experience & exposure to a variety of large-scale persistent systems including large NoSQL databases.

▪ Please note only candidates who have architected products for large scalable solutions with start-ups would be preferred for this role

▪ Strong understanding of core concepts of python.

▪ Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.

▪ Understanding of various design patterns and implementation.

▪ Understanding of front-end technologies, such as AJAX, AngularJS, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3

▪ Knowledge of various python data structures, basic libraries. Knowledge of protocols - TCP/ IP, HTTP, HTTPS, TELNET, SSH, etc. Write - clean-, well-designed code.

▪ Thorough understanding of SDLC, as well software security maturity models, such as Building Security in Maturity Model (BSIMM) or OWASP Software Assurance Maturity Model (SAMM).
