Senior Embedded Software Engineer

Skills Required

Common logic, Programming C Language, Software design Tools, analog circuit design, digital circuits, Communication protocols know-how, in-depth of different Micro-controllers.

• Interfacing, analysing and drivers of various ADC ICs(AD7192, CS5530, CS5532, CS1237, CS1231, HX710), RF Module(RF1022, RF1023L), RTC(PCF8583), Memory ICs(External Eeprom and Flash), 7-Seg Display ICs(TM1640, TM1624).
• Develope FreeRTOS based Products on TIVA ARM Cortex M4 processor.
• Good analytical and Debugging skill, Digital Electronics. Initial level knowledge of VHDL, FPGA, LPC1768, LPC2148, STM evaluation board, STM32CubeMX, STM programmer/debugge

Job Duties

• Design and implement software of embedded devices and systems from requirements to production and commercial deployment
• Design, develop, code, test and debug system software
• Knowledge of C/C++, Embedded systems, RTOS and 8/16/32 bit controllers
• Hands on experience in Embedded C++ and developing test specifications and plans
• Familiarity with the designing, testing, and construction of Smart Energy Meters
• Designe products using GSM/GPRS modules, GPS, Zigbee, RF, Bluetooth, IoT, MQTT
• Knowledge of interfaces/protocols like RS232, UART, RS485, I2C, SPI, Parallel port, etc
• Sound knowledge of communication protocols like DLMS, MODBUS, IEC1107, MBUS
• CBIP, IEC, IS standards (IS13779, IS14697, IS15959, IEC 62056, etc)
• Develop software/firmware and perform root cause analysis
• Texas Instruments MSP430 & TIVA TM4C Cortex M4 32 bit ARM controllers
• Microchip 8/16 bit PIC Controllers and Atmel
• Working on GSM/GPRS Controllers from Sierra Wireless, Quectel, etc.
