QA Engineer

Our ideal candidate is an experienced QA Engineer and has a passion for developing high-quality, maintainable code using the latest technologies. Responsibilities

• As a QA Engineer you will:
• Translate functional requirements and specifications into documented test plans, cases and steps
• Rigorously planning, writing and executing test scripts
• Perform manual and automated regression testing
• Creation and maintenance of test data, tools and scripts
• Execute test plans manually and conduct manual functional and exploratory testing
• To complete testing in line with agreed time-frames and by following the documented business processes using the appropriate test management and automation tools.
• Continually update skills by learning new technologies relevant to the role Evaluate testing tools
• Performance testing by collaborating with subject-matter experts to optimize test coverage and trace to business requirements Work with developers to understand new features, troubleshoot major product issues, determine root causes, and identify solutions
• Analyze defect patterns across the entire product and drive test initiatives to resolve or prevent them in the future
• Explore new areas and technology to improve automation and QA efficiency
• Be part of every whole product lifecycle. Dream, Build, Run and Iterate
• Work with the Design team to ensure the perfect~ UI and UX

Requirements

You Bring to the Table:

• 0.5 to 2 Years of Solid QA experience in testing
• Solid knowledge of SDLC, Defect Life cycle
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Hands-on experience with functional testing
• Experience with automated testing will be an added advantage
• Knowledge of Database will be an added advantage
• Good communication skills
• Ability to learn quickly
• Diploma in Software Testing would be an advantage
