Your key responsibilities

● Be a part of an agile team to develop, define and design world class architecture for the Airline industry and other passenger mode Mobile Apps. Prototype, evaluate and recommend the most suitable architecture

● Being responsible for scaling, performance & cost optimization for the iOS product by experimenting with new & relevant technologies and tools, and drive adoption

● Review all critical functionality & test code

● Support team in removing bottlenecks

● Collaborate with the overseas teams through various stages of development and design of core components and framework

● Develop innovative new features in collaboration with our team of designers, product owners, and Android/iOS product experts

● Optimise the core functionality of the app What we look for

● 3 - 5 years of professional iOS development experience

● Experience with iOS 11+ SDK

● Robust knowledge of Swift4 and above

● Experience in consuming REST based web APIs and parsing JSON data

● Strong knowledge in iOS memory management concepts like ARC

● Strong knowledge of GCD (Grand Central Dispatch)

● Working knowledge of commonly used iOS design patterns

● Exercised exemplary development practices including design specification, coding standards, unit testing, and code reviews. Willingness to ‘go the extra mile’ when needed

● Strong knowledge of debugging and instrumentation tests

● Experience with Git (GitHub), automatic deployments, continuous integration

● Familiarity in writing unit tests using XCTest and CocoaPods

● Knowledge in iOS app publishing and distribution models

● Aware of the use of XIBs/Nibs and working with Core Animation and Core Data

● Understanding in developing loosely coupled frameworks/libraries to be shared across multiple apps You get bonus point for

● Exposure to Payment Solutions or NoSQL DB is a plus

● Knowledge of Objective C

● Working knowledge of Android is a big plus point
