Security Engineer

About this Job:

SenseHawk is looking for a Security engineer to secure applications, infrastructure, processes and support an exceptional product aiming to improve the efficiency of people and processes in renewables and constructions. You'll be working remotely and may be requested to work from the office (Bengaluru).

About the role

● Be part of the DevSecOps team to develop, implement, and support cloud environments

● Perform regular analysis and penetration tests based on OWASP ASVS and SANS CWE-25

● Improve overall security posture of the platform and services

● Lead security program and chaos engineering from security standpoint

● Provide hands-on technical expertise to secure cloud services including driving improvements in technical architecture, standards, and processes.

● Deal with software challenges including high performance, scalability, robustness and resilience.

● Keeping an eye on security issues within the organization - and securing our employees and customer's data.

● Hands-on technical expertise in Linux, Docker, AWS platform security, automation, integration, and deployment

Your Experience & Skills:

● 2 + years of experience as DevOps/ SRE or as a part of the Security team.

● 2 + years as combined security experience

● Knowledge in Containerized environment and Hashicorp stack (Consul, Nomad, Terraform)

● Experience with a variety of security related tools (Supply chain attack prevention, CI/CD compliance, SIEM, security monitoring).

● Experience with automation/configuration management using tools like Terraform, Ansible or an equivalent

● Knowledge of enterprise security requirements and policies

● Independent, able to complete tasks end to end, prioritize your tasks and build relationships across the organization.

● Team player, egoless, strong communication skills, and empathetic.

● Degree in Computer Science (not a must; we're always looking for super talented people)

● EC-Council, Offensive Security or SANS certificate is a plus.
