As a passionate and flexible Data Engineer, you will work in our Technology Innovation Vertical providing data solutions for our businesses.

You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and draw on your collaborative and problem-solving skills to achieve optimal outcomes for your stakeholders in a space that is undergoing a large transformation. You will think critically to understand and navigate business challenges and use your exceptional people skills to negotiate through ambiguity as you proactively identify and solve issues.

We’d love to hear from you if you:

• Have a master’s degree OR a bachelor’s degree in computer science with 4+ years of relevant work experience. A minimum of 2 years working with multimodal data repositories is preferred.

• Have working knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS), Pipeline management of diverse data, production load for AWS services like RDS, EC2 or Fargate, Lambda, S3. APIGateway, Load Balancer and further computational analysis from SQL/noSQL databases and knowledge of services like Redshift, Athena, Glue etc

• Have a good understanding and hands-on experience with databases, specifically Oracle, PostgreSQL.

• Experience in programming skills on Java, Spring boot or Node or Python OR PL/SQL.

• Applied knowledge of data modeling principles (e.g. dimensional modeling and star schemas).

• Strong understanding of database internals, such as indexes, binary logging, and transactions.

• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (e.g. Docker, CloudFormation, CI/CD, git, etc.)

• Extensive data understanding and business acumen in the data rich industries like insurance or financial
