Description

I was reporting to the Director of Java Documentation in US. The java se pages on the jdk 8 release were in HTML format and had to be migrated to a new platform DITA. I strategised the conversion of java HTML pages to DITA which was realised in Java SE 9. The team in India was henceforth expanded to handle the conversion work, I onboarded the team in India.

Java SE Security and Virtual Machine  teams in US required major updates to the documentation, such as documenting Java Engineering JEPs such as DTLS and updating code samples according to secure coding guidelines. I worked on prioritising my tasks in the Java JEPs, performing technical analysis, developing code samples complying with secure coding guidelines, reviewing engineering code, proposals to java product management about enhancing documentation. Maintaining plans and giving estimates. Participating remotely in Java team meetings
