We have developed Tableau Server Data Extract Refresh Process for Tableau Server with the help of Python and tabcmd utility. After an ETL load completed event by Informatica, this process invoke the Tableau Server to refresh the all Tableau extract based on completion of the respectively loads on Informatica server. This was the limitation with Tableau Server product to refresh the Tableau Extract after successfully ETL load. This process notify the all tableau users that extract has been successfully refreshed.

The Data Processing System is a high-volume analytical processing (i.e. OLAP) and subsequent, often use for report generation. The Insurance Company wanted to create a Finance Data warehouse and centralized reporting solutions, replacing the existing manual process of reporting through Excel and other means. Guardian Data Lake is an Enterprise Master Data Ecosystems for all the Guardian’s company data. It’s a centralized, curated, and secured repository that stores all consolidated data, both in its original form and prepared for analysis.

Guardian Data Lake system delivers an integrated suite of services that provide everything needed to quickly and easily build and manage a data lake for analytics. It enables to break down data silos and combine different types of analytics to gain insights and provide better business decisions in cloud environment and all reporting and ML system using this ecosystem as a source. Client data extracts to Data Hub, to S3 and finally into the Redshift data warehouse. For this process used Matillion.Matillionfor AWS Redshift is a GUI-based ELT tool designed for S3 and Redshift specifically.

Tableau Push Email is an automation platform intended to seamlessly communicate with Tableau Server with the help of tabcmd utility. The idea behind it is that anyone should be able to easily share and customize any tableau report on email to user. In its current form, Tableau Push Email exists as a PowerShell script that is set up to run at frequent and regular time intervals. All the information it needs to enable to access Tableau Server PostgreSQL repository, and the published views of the Tableau Server it is set to run against. This was a limitation with Tableau server product to send tableau reports in .csv format for user’s inbox.
