A leading Machine Tool manufacturer has a software application to manage the manufacturing workflow. The product is shipped along with the machine tools & is very critical for the users and the business. There was a need to replace its old Geometry Kernel with a modern one, to make the product competitive. However, changing the kernel had a large-scale impact over the legacy code. Breaking any existing behavior was not affordable as the product was already being used by users across the globe.

I was totally focused on the role as Product Definition, where we developed a new designfor-manufacturability (DFM) product from scratch. I was responsible for Product Definition, Building Prototypes and talking to end users for understanding their expectations
