• Designed and Developed custom subject areas (Credit Card History, GL and Subsidiary Open Commitments) using OBIEE and ODI. This effort included architecting and designing the subject areas from scratch, development of ELT ODI interfaces, packages, scenarios and load plans, scheduling the load plans using BIACM, creating data mart joins in OBIEE repository, OBIEE reports and dashboard development in an Agile environment.

• Worked on gap analysis and conversion of existing Financials Discoverer reports to OBIEE. Subject areas included Trial Balance, GL Line Detail, Federal Financials, Procure to Pay, Commitments and Obligations, Fixed Assets and Receivables.

• Maintenance and production support of delivered OBI EBS (E-Business Suite) Applications data warehouse. Duties included troubleshooting Production issues, detailing a plan of action to address and resolve issues followed by development and testing code changes to ODI code, OBIEE repository, catalog, report and/or dashboard.

• Configuration and Deployment of OBIA data warehouse using Oracle BI Applications Configuration Manager (BIACM) and Functional Setup Manager (FSM). Activities included configuration of GL Account segments and GL Group Account codes.

• Used DataStage to carry out Financials and HCM data warehouse customizations including implementation of delete scenarios for payables mart, general ledger and profitability mart, enterprise service automation mart and workforce profile mart.

• Carried out ETL customizations required for upgrading DataStage 7.5.2 objects to 8.5. Migrated DataStage 7.5.2 projects to DataStage 8.5 for Dev, QA and Prod environments.

• Modified data model, ETL jobs, metadata repository (.rpd), Presentation, BMM and Physical layers within OBIEE to implement business and reporting requirements using Peopletools, DataStage and OBIEE Admin and Web tools.

• Carried out design of customized interactive OBIEE dashboards using drill down, guided navigation, prompts, filters and variables.

• Built repository by importing data, defining keys and joins, creating business model, mapping columns and sources, creating measures and developing subject areas. Developed reports and dashboards with different analytic views including Pivot Table, Chart, Gauges, Column selector and View selector with global and local filters using Oracle BI presentation services.

Disease management decision support system warehouse Implementation using IBM DataStage 7.5.2

• Developed Contact based management, Diabetes and Triage, Clinical and Enrollment Analytics data marts using DataStage jobs.

• Used server and enterprise (parallel extender) editions. Worked with job control code set up.

• Worked also as production support and DataStage administrator resource. Responsibilities included production scheduling, bug fixes, change management, code deployment, migration and rollouts. Worked on DataStage and scheduler Tivoli interface.

• Used DataStage version control application to promote jobs to QA, UA and Production.

• Developed PX jobs using parallel stages like Dataset, Sequential file, Complex flat file, Funnel, Filter, Modify, Merge, Join, Lookup, Transformer, Oracle Enterprise stage, Peek.

• Used Star schemas to generate fact and dimension tables.

• Created master jobs using DataStage sequencer that helps to trigger the execution of jobs in a proper sequence.

• Created custom routines for re-usable code across various jobs.

• Development of multiple instance jobs and use of inter process to reduce load time.

• Designed and Developed custom Informatica mappings to load Customer, Account, Product, Order, Persona and Digital Preference data from Oracle and DB2 sources into data warehouse. This effort included data mapping, designing and developing Informatica mappings using Informatica Designer, and developing Workflows and sessions using Informatica Workflow Manager in an Agile environment.

• Worked also as a production support resource. Responsibilities included production bug fixes, code deployment, migration and rollouts.

• Pentaho Data Integrator (PDI) ETL tool was used to load the same data into Neo4j graph database using Neo4j Cypher and Neo4j Output stages.

• New custom development and maintenance of delivered OBI EBS (E-Business Suite) Applications data warehouse. Customized Oracle pre-build rpd and dashboards (Financials, HR, Supply Chain and Order Management, Manufacturing, Procurement, Spending and Projects) according to business requirements.

• Supported ETL loads from various sources (Oracle E-Business Suite, Microsoft CRM, flat files) into Business Analytics Warehouse using Informatica Power Center 9.1.0 and DAC 11.1.1.6.4. Production support activities included troubleshooting aborted jobs and batches, carrying out detailed review of the issue and suggesting steps to fix and/or improve the situation.

• CRM data warehouse was a custom data warehouse. Extensively worked on customization and performance optimization tuning of Informatica mappings and mapplets. Worked with Informatica PowerCenter Designer, Workflow Manager, Workflow Monitor and Repository Manager. Developed Workflows and sessions associated with the mappings using Workflow Manager. Worked with Source to Target data mappings and business rules associated with the ETL process.

• Hands on experience with Informatica server installation and administration - responsible for ETL code migration and setting up security features based on users/groups and roles. Duties also included applying patches and keeping various data warehouse environments current to the latest critical patch updates.

• Installed and configured OBIEE 11g (11.1.1.6) on Linux servers. Completed 11.1.1.7 upgrade. Administered WebLogic server 10.3.6 for OBIEE, Oracle Internet Directory (OID) 11.1.1.7 and Oracle Access Manager (OAM) 11.1.2.2. Migrated repository and web catalog files from one environment to others. Involved in taking backups of repository and web catalog files. Developed different reports, filters and dashboards.

• Performance monitoring, tuning and system management of multiple Informatica and OBIEE environments. Patching and upgrade of OBIEE components including WebLogic server and Enterprise Manager.
