Description: Muthoot Fincorp is leading NBFS Company in India to provide gold loan and MSME loans for small creditor. They have various transaction systems which is generating daily data. And load into ODS data warehouse system through ETL jobs on daily, monthly and yearly basis. Based on business requirement design report/dashboards in Microsoft BI for analysis purpose      

Tools/Technology: Informatica Power Center 9.6.1, Oracle 11.2 express edition, SQL Server 2016, Power BI.

Responsibilities:

• BI Lead, ETL Developer, assign task to developer, prepared estimation plan and taking delivery responsibility.   
• Capture Requirement/uses cases from Business Analysts, users.
• Design document for ETL load
• Prepare project plan for delivery.
• Design ETL jobs for various data warehouse table load daily, weekly monthly and yearly load.
•  Assign task to dashboard developer form developing the dashboard for various business dashboard.

Title                         - Enterprise Data warehouse

Project Duration – June 2017 to October 2019.

Description: This is the (EDW) Enterprise data warehouse project, data comes from multiple source in format like .csv file, tab separated file, xml file, Jason file and SQL Server data, MYSQL data. We put all data into HDFS and design the four data marts in Hive EDW, ReportingDM, UnderritingDM and DM. after processing some data mart are used for business reporting purpose that goes into SQL Server for reporting.

Tools/Technology: Hadoop, Hive, HDFS, Sqoop, SQL Server 2012, HQL, Microsoft Power BI, SSAS/DAX/MDX SSRS, Informatica Power Center 9.6.1.

Responsibilities:

• Capture Requirement/uses cases from Business Analysts, users.
• Create specification document.
• Created HIVE queries and Hive tables for storing data and calculating different KPI’s.
• Developed workflow in Oozie to automate the Sqoop tasks of loading the data into HDFS to implement data-pipeline
• Import and export the data from RDBMS to HDFS
• Develop reports/dashboards in Power Bi
• Validate and fix data issue in informatica power center jobs

Description: The application with capability to track more than 5000 drivers producing per second data through GPS and LMU devices. Using GPS data, the driving performance is calculated. Contains web portal and mobile applications (Android and iOS). It also interfaces with smart car consoles

Project Duration      - Jan, 2014 to May, 2014

Description: Based on the Client (Financial Services Provider) requirement, a number of data loaders were developed to extract data from text files, stage and validate data, load new data to the Dimension and Fact tables incrementally into the Warehouse, log the progress of the Package, error handling & package Configuration for variables and Connections being used. The packages were tested on the pilot server and issues were resolved (UAT) till its approval for production release. The next phase was maintenance. Re-engineering, Documentation of the design, configuration management with every change request/ feature addition/ support ticket.

Responsibilities:

• Implemented the business logic in SQL stored procedures, user defined functions.
• Implemented ETL process for extraction and data manipulation from different data sources (Excel, Flatfiles) into SQL server using SSIS.

Description: Project required ETL process (Extract, Transform, and Load) migration of data from User inputs and TOPSERV database to Data warehouse and then generating requisite reports using Cognos tool. Joined the onshore migration team in Bangkok for change, enhancement and maintenance aspect of the ETL process migration
