BW processes multiple types of payments including Patient Payments, Client payments, and IVR payments. This application interfaces with complete billing systems, Care360, IVR, QDIB, MQ, Identity Hub, and banking interface files. Roles and Contribution : o Worked closely with Business Analysts for all the Functional requirements o Responsible for setting record straight with regard to coding standards and documentation o Involved in writing Test Cases, Testing Application and Implementation plan o Followed Agile Development process for planning, daily stand-ups and retrospection. Successfully completed theproject within budget and ahead of the schedule • • Designed and Developed SOAP Web Services input/output data formats in XSD for the WSDL files and accordingly implementing services using Apache AXIS. • • Implemented Restful and SOAP based web services layer to interface with Oracle database using JAX-RS, JAX-WS, and JAXRPC API's. o Used Spring Security for authentication and authorization extensively o Worked with advanced MVC framework such as Spring-IOC, AOP, MVC and Batch which is used for implementing backend functionality o Developed and configured the Java beans using spring and Hibernate framework. o Integrated Spring DAO for data access using with Hibernate o Used Hibernate in data access layer to access and update information in the database. o Design the J2EE components of the Restful Web Services and scheduled Java batch jobs based application in UML. Project Name (Green Rec):These changes were a result of policy decisions and regulatory interventions. But technological advances have also played a major role in these changes that have enveloped the insurance ecosystem across the globe. This study has attempted to explore the application of supply chain concepts in the insurance business to understand the need for such an approach and the impact of such a strategy. The research problem being investigated here is whether there is a need to look at the insurance business model with a supply chain lens considering the huge number of intermediaries involved in delivering the service. As competencies get distributed among a wide number of stakeholders, it is imperative that the insurance company manage this dependency well to make its business model operationally robust. The research design is of an exploratory nature. This study argues the need for exploring and evaluating the insurance service supply chain and highlights the benefits for the sector as a whole.
