• For Sakai, an open source e-learning platform, wrote web services that exposed functionality of specific component APIs, authentication caching enhancements, working with Java, portlets, hibernate, ehcache, Axis, and Spring framework.
• Project lead for a web-based floating XMPP based chat client that enabled chat within any web-based application.
• Project lead on replacing Sakai's current wiki with a plugin layer to XWiki. Implemented as a Sakai tool that managed the mapping between Sakai user/group permissions to XWiki. Worked closely with the Sakai and XWiki open source communities.
• Complete application development, with a team of 3 programmers wrote a web-based Job Hiring and Management application with backend workflow and UI to be part of an open source initiative.
