• Java Developer at First Rand Bank(APEX)

• APEX application is used across multiple channels by the bank agents for purposes of Account open, Credit card issuance, Customer management etc.

It is an iPad application with backend in Springboot micro service architecture.

• We are PB-Entitlements and security system which provides entitlements to other teams in Morgan Stanley. My responsibilities are to develop REST web services and also maintain some related projects to support this application. We were also responsible for creating UI screens for PB entitlements.

• UI was earlier angular and than migrated to react js.

• We were responsible for fetching data from different upstream systems and put them into our system. We also required to create too many store procedures for our project.

• Global Banking & Markets unit of HSBC Bank solely deals with Investment Banking and trade markets with HSBC acting as a custodian in Trade Life Cycle. ISDGBM deals with the static data of the customers flowing into the System maintained by HSBC. When a transaction happens, the management of placing orders with Customer’s existing static data is handled by GBM ISD.

• Managed, confirmed and implemented the missing gaps in Requirement Gathering for module and inter-module integration

• Worked on IBM-MQ for receiving messages from upstream and sending updates to down streams.

• Developed various UI screens for a newly created workflow. Developed REST/SOAP services.

• Handled additional database project DQCD for managing data for reporting.
