IBMs Shipment Information Sharing Service (SISS) is a federated network infrastructure that allows participants in a supply chain to share relevant user owned data with other participants in the same supply chain. It is based on open standards and provides secure communication and information exchange of shipment data, documents, applications and processes and can operate both locally and be linked globally among secure and authenticated participants.

The lightweight editors are portal server components, which include editors for rich text, Spreadsheet and presentation that allow authoring of documents directly within the portal.The objective of DCS (Document Conversion Services) is to develop a set of file convertors for Portal Document Manager of WebSphere Portal Server. The Portal Document Manager (PDM) is the component of WebSphere Portal Server which manages documents. It is responsible for browse, add, edit, delete, export and import documents. This uses file convertors from DCS to convert from one file format to another. There is a need to exchange documents with customers/ partners who do not have portal and can not read portals proprietary file formats.

The Rule-based Discount/Promotion runtime together with a friendly user interface will enable the Marketing/Merchandising Managers to create more flexible discount/promotion. This runtime will work with the WC Order Subsystem and WC Segmentation Subsystem to fire the discount/promotion to the target customer profile(s).
