Server mandatory: candidate background from product-based company

Interview Rounds:6(3 technical)

Total Experience required : 15+ years

Product Architect: 5 years (minimum experience as product architect)

Mandatory Skills:

1)Product development experience (Java, C++)

2) System Management domain (System management products for storage/Server/networking/virtualization) with exposure to Linux

3) BE, Btech or Masters/PG in Comupters

Responsibilities:

• Define and drive the next-generation Edge Computing system architectures for internal R&D in terms of new product features, technology adaption, improve of usability

• Review and provide technical inputs on feature design considering the overall system impact

• Provide technical guidance to the team and help them overcome technical impediments

• Participating in key Edge Computing standards, consortia and conference events, influencing and promoting company’s vision and leadership

• Working with Business Line Management and Engineering teams, to develop and deliver an Edge solution roadmap that aligns to our Edge Computing Vision, Strategy

• Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders to obtain buy-in for future product features and technology initiatives; prioritize requirements and resolve conflicts during the product development process

• Supporting field, sales and marketing activities as required

• Performing research and staying ahead of technology and competitive Edge Computing landscape to identify market trends and emerging technology disruptions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline

• Proven track record of product development experience in HW, SW systems and solutions.

• Overall 15+ years of industry experience

• 5+ years’ experience as a Product Architect developing Enterprise products

• Exposure to system manageability domain (Server, Storage, networking, virtualization) is a must

• Exposure to defining, design and development of application interfaces like REST APIs

• Familiarity with cyber-security technologies and best practices

• Exceptional communication

Skills:

• You will be required to speak with various levels of technical and management individuals within our prospect/customer’s organizations.

• Demonstrated track record of taking ownership

• Expertise in one or more Linux (CentOS/Ubuntu)

• Help improve our implementation and adoption of agile methodology with regard to product development
