Job Responsibilities:

•        Comprehend the system prerequisites and draft test cases and test scenarios.

•        Gain insights into the software's internal workings and carry out product testing.

•        Assess product requirements and deployment situations to evaluate the software and firmware's robustness.

•        Take charge of creating and sustaining the test setup.

•        Validate and implement software and system programs.

•        Identify and resolve issues, debug software components, and conduct testing.

•        Propose and implement enhancements. Generate technical documentation for reference and reporting purposes.

Required Skills :

·      Prior experience in successfully completing at least one software life cycle project.

·      Proficient in testing embedded software and firmware.

·      Worked with version control systems like GIT, Bitbucket, SVN, etc.

·      Capable of comprehending system peripherals such as RTC, EEPROM, Graphic LCD, and Keypad drivers and testing them in relation to software and firmware.

·      Familiar with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD).

·      Proficient in manual testing for Desktop applications, Mobile applications, Embedded hardware, and Embedded software products.

·      Collaborated closely with developers to ensure the release of bug-free software to the field.

·      Knowledgeable about software development methodologies like V-model, Scrum, and Agile processes.

·      Practical experience in using Digital Storage Oscilloscopes (DSO) and Multimeters, among other tools. Possesses a good understanding of the Fire Safety domain and has experience in Fire Panel Development.
