Small Steps IT Solutions is seeking a skilled and experienced Selenium Tester to join our growing team. As a Selenium Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our payroll software applications. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests using Selenium, ensuring that our software meets the highest standards of reliability and performance. Requirement:

• Minimum 1 to 30 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on automation testing using Selenium.
• Proven ability to design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases using Selenium WebDriver.
• Hands-on experience with various testing methodologies, including functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and system testing.
• Excellent understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify, analyze, and report defects effectively.
• Experience with Java or other programming languages preferred.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Role and responsibility:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver to test the functionality and performance of payroll applications.
• Collaborate with developers and other team members to understand product requirements and identify testable scenarios.
• Execute test cases, analyze test results, and report defects in a clear and concise manner.
• Work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution of defects and improve the overall quality of the product.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of test automation frameworks and best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in software testing automation.
• Proactively identify areas for improvement and contribute to the overall effectiveness of the testing process.
