Job Title: NetSuite Billing Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced NetSuite Billing Specialist to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for invoicing our customers and optimizing billing processes within the NetSuite platform, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of customer invoicing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial operations and billing systems, particularly within NetSuite, and will work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline billing and improve financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

   •       Billing Operations:

         •  Create, review, and process invoices in NetSuite for customers.

         •  Manage recurring billing schedules, subscription renewals, and usage-based billing.

         •  Ensure accurate application of pricing, discounts, taxes, and credits.

   •       Data Integrity and Reconciliation:

         •  Reconcile billing data and resolve discrepancies.

         •  Maintain accurate records of customer accounts, payments, and outstanding balances.

   •       System Optimization:

         •  Collaborate with IT and finance teams to enhance NetSuite’s billing modules.

         •  Implement best practices to improve billing workflows and automate manual tasks.

   •       Reporting and Analysis:

         •  Generate billing and revenue reports to assist in financial planning and analysis.

         •  Support month-end and year-end closing processes by providing accurate billing data.

   •       Customer Support:

         •  Address customer inquiries related to billing and payments.

         •  Work with the collections team to manage overdue accounts and disputes.

Qualifications:

   •       Education: Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

   •       Experience:

         • 6 - 8 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable and cash application.

         •  Hands-on experience with NetSuite is required.

   •       Technical Skills:

         •  Proficiency in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, v-lookups) and other financial tools.

         •  Familiarity with billing automation tools and workflows is a plus.

   •       Soft Skills:

         •  Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

         •  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

         •  Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
