Required Qualifications:

Google Cloud Professional Cloud Security Engineer (PCSE) certification is mandatory.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

5+ years of experience in cloud security, with at least 3 years focused on Google Cloud Platform.

Deep understanding of security concepts, including network security, application security, data security, and identity management.

Hands-on experience with core GCP security services (IAM, VPC Service Controls, Cloud Armor, KMS, Secret Manager, Security Command Center, Cloud DLP, Cloud Audit Logs, etc.).

Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Go) for automation and security tool development.

Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to security.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional cloud certifications (e.g., Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, AWS Certified Security - Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate).

Experience with container security (e.g., GKE security, Binary Authorization).

Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001.

Experience with security incident response and forensics.

Familiarity with DevSecOps principles and practices
