Requirements:
- A valid Registered Nurse license with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a healthcare setting, and no more than 7 years of experience, with a strong foundation in medical-surgical nursing, critical care, or a related specialty
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), with proficiency in electronic medical records, medication administration, and other relevant healthcare technologies
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-based environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
- A strong commitment to patient-centered care, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, policies, and procedures
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality, work with diverse patient populations, and provide culturally sensitive care, with a strong focus on patient safety, satisfaction, and outcomes
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical, emotional, and psychological evaluations, to inform individualized care plans and interventions
- Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans, in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, to achieve optimal patient outcomes and improve quality of life
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies, as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions, side effects, and other concerns
- Provide education and guidance to patients, families, and caregivers, on disease management, self-care, and healthy lifestyle practices, to promote health literacy and empowerment
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, including data collection, analysis, and reporting, to identify areas for improvement and implement evidence-based solutions
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential patient records, including electronic medical records, to ensure continuity of care and meet regulatory requirements
Budget:
- The maximum budget for this role is $110,000 per year, with the job type being payroll, offering a competitive salary and benefits package to attract and retain top talent in the nursing profession
