Requirements:

• A minimum of7 years of experience in medical coding, with a strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
• Proficiency in coding systems, including ICD-10-CM/PCS and CPT
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to interpret complex medical information
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Certification in medical coding, such as CPC or CCS, with ongoing education and professional development
• Familiarity with electronic health records and coding software, with ability to learn new systems and technologies

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assign and sequence codes for diagnoses and procedures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
