Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Tax CPA to join the team in Lenexa, KS. This role requires a licensed CPA with a solid background in business and individual tax preparation. After an initial onsite onboarding period, hybrid flexibility is available.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships

Conduct tax research and apply findings to support clients

Provide tax planning and strategy consultations to minimize liabilities

Liaise with federal and state tax authorities on client matters

Monitor regulatory changes and ensure team compliance

Collaborate with colleagues to offer holistic client support

Maintain strong client relationships through reliable, proactive service

Qualifications

Active CPA license (Required)

Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance (Master’s in Taxation preferred)

Minimum 3 years of tax preparation experience (business returns emphasized)

Proficiency with tax software (UltraTax, ProConnect, or similar)

Strong knowledge of federal and state tax codes

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
