Role: Python/AWS Developer

Client Name: Capital One

Location: New York City, NY or Plano TX – hybrid in the office (3 days office/2 days home)Must be local to either market

Duration: 6 -12 months

This is a compliance project that we need assistance with – we are migrating data from co-located servers to the cloud.

Skillset:

• Primary function is to develop, test, and debug in Python in an AWS environment
• 6+ years in Python programming experience – will also accept Go
• Experienced in Python API development, testing, and debugging
• Must be able to develop Python scripts, test and debug
• AWS experience - Lambda + DynamoDb, QuickSight (strongly preferred)
• Google API's experience – able to read and develop if needed
• System design – must be able to discuss designs, etc.
• Must be able to identify and communicate when a problem is uncovered and not be afraid to ask for assistance if they do not understand an issue
