We are seeking an experienced **Senior Environmental Engineer/Geologist** to lead **site assessment and remediation projects** for a California-based environmental consulting and engineering firm. This is a senior-level position with opportunities for **technical leadership, client engagement, and mentoring junior staff**.

### ????️ Key Responsibilities

* Lead **planning, design, and execution** of environmental site assessments

* Develop and implement **remediation strategies** (e.g., in-situ injections, SVE, air sparging)

* Design and oversee **vapor mitigation systems** (vapor barriers, sub-slab depressurization)

* Manage teams, subcontractors, budgets, and timelines to ensure project success

* Prepare and review **technical reports and regulatory submittals** (RWQCB, DTSC compliance)

* Build and maintain strong **client relationships** through proactive communication

* Mentor junior staff and contribute to **business development** efforts

### ????Required Qualifications

✅ Bachelor’s degree in **Geology, Environmental/Civil Engineering** or related field

✅ 8+ years of **environmental consulting experience** (site assessment & remediation focus)

✅ Proven experience with **California regulatory agencies** (RWQCB, DTSC)

✅ Strong project management skills – budgets, schedules, deliverables

✅ Excellent **technical writing, analytical, and communication skills**
