OptimHire’s Job Auto-Applier that will automatically apply to jobs at 300,000+ Companies.
Every year, we release the Top 100 Most Loved Workplaces® list, which will be published in The Wall Street Journal on October 14, 2025, alongside expanded partnerships with CNBC, Bloomberg, and Fox Business. The lists don’t just celebrate great workplaces — they create a pipeline of inbound applications from companies that want to get certified and a flood of candidates who want to work for them.
That’s where you come in.
The Head of Digital Marketing & Content Growth will be the architect and driver of MLW’s demand engine. You will own the playbook that turns lists into applications, applications into certifications, and certifications into profile traffic. You will take a brand with massive momentum — and turn it into a scalable, measurable, repeatable machine for growth.
This is not a maintenance role. This is a builder’s role. We expect you to arrive with a proven demand-gen stack, a history of driving SQLs at scale, and the leadership chops to fix what’s broken fast, replace what’s holding us back, and direct founder-led content into campaigns that deliver.
If you are pipeline-obsessed, if you measure your success by MQLs, SQLs, and profile traffic, and if you want to work directly with a globally recognized founder and CEO to build something that will dominate both Google search and modern AI ecosystems, this is your seat.
Your mission is simple in words but demanding in execution: deliver MQLs, SQLs, and certified client profile traffic.
You will do this by running the MLW play:
Every action you take ties back to this funnel. You will drive targeted traffic to MLW lists, convert that traffic into applications, move qualified companies into certification, and double the visibility of certified client profiles. That’s the growth flywheel.
But you will also extend this flywheel. You will rework the MLW website for conversion, harness the intellectual property and thought leadership of our founder Louis Carter, and dominate AI and SEO surfaces so that when someone searches for leadership, culture, or Most Loved Workplace®, the answer is always us.
This mission is not abstract. We have clear expectations and tight timelines. You’ll be expected to show impact in your first week, build predictable systems in your first month, and double core traffic metrics by the end of your first quarter.
You will take full ownership of the Lists Engine. This means driving traffic to list pages, structuring them for conversion, and ensuring they move companies into the application and certification funnel. You will build repeatable systems so that every new list — whether Top 100, Diversity, Veterans, Disability, or Parents & Caregivers — becomes its own demand engine.
Your work here will involve restructuring list pages for SEO dominance, optimizing copy and UX, strengthening internal linking, and ensuring each page becomes a magnet for applications.
Every company that becomes a certified Most Loved Workplace® earns a profile on our site. Your responsibility is to make sure those profiles don’t sit idle. You will double the views and clicks to certified profiles by ensuring accuracy, design quality, schema implementation, and strong CTAs that push candidates toward jobs.
A certified profile should be more than a directory listing — it should be a living, optimized recruitment and branding asset that companies are proud to showcase. You’ll make sure it is.
The MLW website is the engine room of the business. You will rework the homepage above the fold with high-impact video, sharper messaging, and direct CTAs. You’ll streamline the application flow, remove friction from every path to apply, and redesign key pages.
That means:
When candidates and companies arrive on our site, there will be no confusion — only clarity and a straight path to action.
Louis Carter, our founder, is a prolific author, organizational psychologist, and recognized thought leader. His books (In Great Company, No-Brainer Candidate), his research, his videos, his podcasts, and his newsletter The Work Ahead are a treasure chest of intellectual property.
You will harness this IP as fuel for pipeline. That means auditing every asset, repackaging it into SEO pieces, paid/organic campaigns, email sequences, LinkedIn doc ads, short-form videos, and PR drops.
You will run a 30-Day Founder Content Engine — a rolling calendar that ensures founder-led campaigns are always live, always mapped to list launches, and always pushing certification applications.
Founder content is not optional decoration. It is the heartbeat of our brand authority, and you will own it end to end.
Google is table stakes. AI ecosystems are the frontier. You will own both.
That means full technical SEO — schema, topic clusters, backlinks, internal linking, canonical setup. It also means AI-EO: strengthening Louis Carter’s knowledge graph, claiming profiles, building structured data, and ensuring that when someone asks ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, or Claude about Most Loved Workplaces, we show up in the answer.
Winning search once meant Google only. Winning search now means Google + AI. You’ll deliver both.
You will own the integrations that tie HubSpot, the MLW site, and the MLW app together. That means fixing duplicates, eliminating brand errors, and enforcing QA so profile and list pages stay clean and current.
You’ll manage calendars tied directly to MLW outcomes — list calendars, editorial calendars, and social calendars — ensuring every release and every campaign ties back to pipeline.
Automation is not optional. It’s the backbone of scale.
You will assess our current team and vendors, and you will replace what isn’t working immediately. That means auditing outsourced labor, firing those holding us back, and onboarding high-performers without hesitation.
This is not a one-person role. You will build and lead a blended team of writers, designers, SEO/ads specialists, and developers. You will set priorities, assign owners, clear blockers, and manage delivery end to end.
You will project manage like a pro: scope, plan, ship in days, not weeks. You will run sprints, daily standups, enforce SLAs, and loop back with post-launch optimization.
In short: you will not only do the work but lead the people who do the work — and you will be accountable for every output.
Success is not defined by effort. It is defined by outcomes — applications, certifications, profile traffic, SQLs. Everything else is a tactic.
On Day 1, you should arrive with a playbook and a stack. We expect you to walk in knowing how to generate 25 MQLs in Week 1, and to show examples of campaigns, dashboards, and site fixes you’ve done before. You’ll identify 2–3 quick wins on our site, draft a 30-day founder content calendar, and spin up a live dashboard.
By Day 30, you will have first campaigns live across two or more channels, certified profile traffic up 25 percent, and at least 25 SQLs delivered to sales. You’ll have audited and fixed critical web assets and completed a knowledge graph and schema audit.
By Day 60, applications will be up 50 percent, certified profile traffic doubled on top profiles, SEO and backlink programs running, founder content campaigns live across platforms, and first AI placements achieved.
By Day 90, you will have a predictable weekly pipeline, doubled certified profile traffic across all clients, dominant SERPs for our lists, rebuilt blog structures, fully leveraged founder IP, Louis Carter strong in both Google and AI answers, and media partnerships integrated into campaigns.
You are pipeline-obsessed. You measure success by MQLs, SQLs, and certified profile traffic.
You are content-strong. You know how to package founder content into campaigns that generate demand.
You are a proven leader. You have built and managed blended teams, and you don’t hesitate to replace underperformers.
You are project-strong. You run sprints, hit deadlines, and optimize in real time.
You are SEO + AI aware. You understand Google deeply and you are already working to win AI surfaces.
You are execution-first. You don’t admire problems — you fix them.
Before we hire you, we expect proof. That means:
We are not looking for ideas. We are looking for execution with evidence.
This is a high-impact, high-visibility role. You will work directly with Louis Carter, Founder and CEO of MLW. Your campaigns will be tied to lists that land in The Wall Street Journal, CNBC, Bloomberg, and Fox Business.
The compensation package is competitive and aligned with top-tier demand-gen leadership roles. More importantly, the trajectory is exponential: the person who proves they can scale MLW will have limitless opportunities for recognition, growth, and future leadership.
To apply, be prepared to show:
We expect you to demonstrate on Day 1 that you can generate pipeline, package content, and fix broken assets.
