Role    : PLM Project Manager 

Location : Austin, TX (Onsite and Locals)

Duration : Contract - Long Term

Job Description: 

Responsibilities:

1. Lead and oversee the implementation of Teamcenter, a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tool, specifically for hard goods product teams.
2. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership, ensuring alignment and transparency throughout the project.
3. Ensure the project is delivered on schedule and remains within the defined budget.
4. Conduct and facilitate workshops focused on project discovery, planning, and execution.
5. Identify, record, and manage project risks and issues, escalating as appropriate.
6. Document action items and maintain the RACI (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed) matrix.
7. Create and distribute weekly status reports to keep all parties informed of progress.
8. Initiate and process project change requests when necessary.
9. Lead Agile Scrum meetings to support iterative development and team collaboration.
10. Participate in resource forecasting to ensure appropriate staffing and allocation.
11. Manage project closure activities, ensuring that all deliverables are completed and documented.

Minimum Qualifications and Attributes:

1. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent professional experience.
2. Minimum of 6 years of recent experience managing large-scale enterprise initiatives within a Project Management Office (PMO).
3. Foundational understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools.
4. Proven track record managing projects utilizing both Waterfall and Agile methodologies; experience with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) is a plus.
5. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Hands-on experience with Teamcenter PLM implementations.
2. Basic familiarity with ERP systems or other downstream applications relevant to PLM environments.
3. Experience within the Retail or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.
4. Active professional certification preferred in one or more of the following: PMP®, PgMP®, PfMP®, CAPM®, Prince2, Six Sigma (any level).

5. Capability to initiate and process project change requests as needed.
6. Experience leading Agile Scrum meetings to drive iterative development and collaboration.
7. Participates proactively in resource forecasting and project closure activities to ensure successful delivery and documentation of all project deliverables.
