Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in legal or academic research, with the ability to handle up to 30 years of expertise for senior‑level contributions.
  • Proficiency in legal research databases (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis), citation management tools, and advanced Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical thinking, excellent written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough legal, statutory, and case law research to support attorneys in case preparation and strategy development.
  • Summarize and organize research findings into concise memoranda, briefing notes, and presentation decks.
  • Assist in drafting legal documents, motions, and pleadings by providing accurate citations and supporting evidence.
  • Maintain and update internal research databases, ensuring information is current and easily accessible to the legal team.
  • Collaborate with senior lawyers and paralegals to identify research needs, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines.
  • Utilize data analysis tools to interpret statistical information and incorporate quantitative insights into legal arguments.
  • Stay informed about emerging legal trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to continuously improve research quality.
