Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer (SDE 2) to design, build, and maintain scalable data systems and pipelines. The ideal candidate should have strong problem-solving abilities and hands-on experience with modern data engineering tools and cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines and workflows
• Build and maintain robust production-grade data systems
• Work with large-scale structured and unstructured datasets
• Implement real-time and batch data processing solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across systems
• Manage and optimize cloud-based data infrastructure
• Implement CI/CD practices for data platforms

Required Skills & Expertise

• Strong problem-solving skills with solid understanding of Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA)
• Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow
• Experience with cloud data warehouses
• Strong knowledge of AWS ecosystem
• Experience with AWS Redshift
• Proficiency in Python and SQL
• Experience in building and maintaining production data systems
• Knowledge of streaming data platforms (Kafka, Kinesis, real-time pipelines)
• Experience with AWS services such as:
• Glue
• DMS
• Athena
• IAM
• CloudWatch
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for data platforms

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with large-scale distributed systems
• Exposure to data modeling and data architecture
• Understanding of performance tuning and optimization
