Job Title: Senior Analyst, Synchronized Planning
Location: Bangalore, India
Reporting To: Manager – PLAN
Travel Requirement: ~10 percent
About the Role
The Senior Analyst, Synchronized Planning will support global planning initiatives and contribute to establishing a harmonized view of Plan data products. This role involves analyzing business needs, collaborating with business and IT stakeholders, and enabling a unified data foundation across demand, supply, and inventory planning functions.
Key Responsibilities
· Support Plan and Inventory data model activities, including governance design, requirements gathering, backlog management, and enhancements
· Perform data collection, analysis, cleansing, and profiling to support global demand planning solution rollout
· Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into functional requirements
· Recommend data asset features and solutions, balancing priorities and trade-offs
· Contribute to data design and sourcing decisions
· Conduct risk and impact analysis and communicate downstream effects
· Analyze process and data flows to identify gaps, redundancies, and improvement opportunities
· Maintain documentation for global Plan data assets
· Partner with Data Management and Data Quality teams to implement monitoring frameworks aligned with global standards
· Participate in data governance initiatives across regional and functional teams
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree
· 6–8 years of experience in master data, supply chain, operations, or related domains
· Strong understanding of demand and supply planning, inventory management, and sales/shipment data
· Experience working with cross-functional teams including planners and process owners
· Hands-on experience with SAP (preferably S/4 HANA) and planning tools such as Anaplan, OMP, Kinaxis, or SAP IBP
· Advanced SQL skills
· Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
· Experience in data governance, data quality, and data harmonization
· Knowledge of data modeling concepts (e.g., star schema)
· Ability to work across business and technical teams effectively
· Adaptability and willingness to learn new tools and processes
Desired Qualifications
· Degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
· Certifications such as CDMP or DGSP
· Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, Databricks)
· Exposure to Agile methodologies or Product Owner responsibilities
