Job Title: Project Lead – Data Lakehouse Platform

Experience: 10+ years

Role Overview:

We are looking for a project Lead to support the PMO function for a Data Lakehouse platform. The role requires strong hands-on experience in on-prem infrastructure, platform deployment, and coordination across technology, security, and operations teams. The incumbent will play a key role by working with the client and the SI (implementation partner).

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the primary interface between business (client) and SI (implementation partner) / OEMs

Collaborate with architecture and engineering teams on data ingestion, storage, processing, and consumption layers

Ensure alignment with business requirements, regulatory, security, and compliance requirements (especially in BFSI context)

Track milestones, manage dependencies, and proactively mitigate risks/issues

Support vendor coordination, performance tracking, and deliverable validation

Prepare executive-level dashboards, status reports, and steering committee updates

Required Skills & Experience:

10+ years of experience in IT program/project management, preferably in BFSI

Strong understanding of Data Lakehouse concepts (e.g., data ingestion, metadata, governance, distributed processing)

Experience in managing on-prem or hybrid data platforms (e.g., Hadoop ecosystem, Spark, Presto/Trino, Iceberg/Delta)

Proven ability to manage large-scale, multi-vendor programs

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Familiarity with data governance, security frameworks, and regulatory expectations in banking

PMP / PRINCE2 or equivalent certification preferred

Prior experience with Public Sector / Government banking environments

Ability to balance technical depth with business outcomes
