Location / Work Timing: Remote / Hybrid, aligned to Singapore business hours

Experience: 15–20 years, with strong regional demand planning, SAP APO, SAP ERP, and stakeholder management

experience.

Role Overview

We are looking for a senior Regional Demand Planner to support demand planning across Singapore and Southeast Asia,

covering approximately 8 countries.

The role will work closely with country demand teams, regional planning stakeholders, and internal data teams to review

baseline forecasts, challenge assumptions, validate data quality, and improve forecast reliability.

The person should bring strong functional demand planning experience. This is not a reporting role. The person is expected to

understand the planning process, question the forecast output, challenge data assumptions, and work with country teams to

improve demand planning quality.

Initially, the role will focus on baseline forecast review and coordination with demand teams. Over time, based on maturity and

business understanding, the person may also be involved in broader IBP / commercial discussions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage regional demand planning coordination across Singapore and Southeast Asia markets.

• Work with demand teams across approximately 8 countries.

• Review baseline forecasts generated by the data / analytics team.

• Engage with country demand planning teams to understand forecast gaps, market changes, business inputs, and

assumptions.

• Challenge and validate forecast outputs from a functional planning perspective.

• Question data quality, planning logic, assumptions, and exceptions in the baseline forecast.

• Work with data engineers / modelers to improve forecast quality and planning outputs.

• Understand demand planning data, forecast outputs, and planning process flows.

• Identify forecast deviations, outliers, abnormal trends, and demand pattern changes.

• Support forecast review meetings with country demand teams.

• Consolidate regional demand inputs and provide structured insights to stakeholders.

• Track forecast accuracy, forecast bias, and improvement opportunities.

• Build trust with regional and country planning teams through clear communication and planning discipline.

• Gradually support IBP / commercial discussions as the role matures.

Required Skills

• 15–20 years of experience in demand planning / supply chain planning.

• Strong understanding of demand planning, forecasting, S&OP / IBP basics.

• Experience working with regional or multi-country planning teams.

• Ability to review and challenge statistical baseline forecasts.

• Strong understanding of forecast accuracy, bias, seasonality, trends, and exceptions.

• Ability to work with data teams and translate business planning needs into data requirements.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and country teams.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, urgent business environment.

• Ability to work during Singapore business hours.

Good to Have

• Experience in FMCG, consumer healthcare, pharma, CPG, or similar industries.

• Experience handling Southeast Asia markets.

• Exposure to commercial planning, promotions, launches, market events, and demand drivers.

• Experience participating in IBP / S&OP forums.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a senior functional demand planning expert who understands regional planning complexity, and can

confidently challenge both data outputs and business assumptions. The person should be able to bridge country demand teams,

regional stakeholders, and data teams to improve forecast quality.
