DevOps Engineer

As a pivotal DevOps Engineer, you will be instrumental in bridging the gap between development and operations, driving efficiency, and ensuring the seamless delivery and robust operation of our critical systems. Your day-to-day involves designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable infrastructure, automating deployment pipelines, and optimizing system performance. You will collaborate closely with development teams, quality assurance, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into resilient, high-performing solutions. This role directly impacts our users and customers by ensuring high availability, rapid feature delivery, and a stable, secure operational environment, ultimately contributing significantly to our business agility and market responsiveness.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines, leveraging automation tools to streamline software delivery from development to production environments for enhanced release cycles.

- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and system maintenance tasks using Python and Shell Scripting to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual errors.

- Develop, deploy, and manage integration solutions, particularly with Jitterbit, to ensure seamless data flow and connectivity between diverse enterprise applications and external services.

- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex infrastructure and application issues, and implement proactive measures to ensure high availability and reliability of all services.

- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application architecture, improve code quality, and integrate security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

- Manage and maintain Unix/Linux-based servers and environments, ensuring optimal performance, security, and adherence to best practices for system administration.

- Develop and consume REST and SOAP APIs for various integration points, ensuring secure, efficient, and scalable communication between systems.

Required Skillset

- Demonstrated expertise in designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive DevOps practices, including CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and monitoring solutions.

- Strong proficiency in Python and Shell Scripting for automation, system administration, and custom tool development within a Unix/Linux environment.

- Proven ability to work with integration platforms such as Jitterbit, including developing and consuming REST API and SOAP API for complex enterprise integrations.

- Deep understanding of Unix/Linux operating systems, networking fundamentals, and system-level troubleshooting.

- Exceptional problem-solving capabilities with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving infrastructure and application performance bottlenecks.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of articulating technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences and working effectively within distributed teams across multiple locations.

- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline is highly valued.
