Ohio Valley Eye Institute is seeking a friendly, professional Customer Representative to join our team. This role is the first point of contact for patients and plays an important part in creating a positive experience from the moment they call or walk through our doors.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors with professionalism and courtesy
• Answer phones, route calls, and respond to basic inquiries
• Schedule, confirm, and update patient appointments
• Verify and update patient information accurately
• Assist with check-in/check-out and general front desk support
• Communicate clearly with patients, staff, and providers
• Handle paperwork, scanning, filing, and other administrative tasks
• Maintain a welcoming, organized reception area

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous customer service or front desk experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organization
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable using computers and office software
• Professional, dependable, and patient-focused attitude

Preferred

• Experience in a medical or eye care setting
• Knowledge of scheduling systems and insurance verification
