About the Role

We are looking for a QA Engineer with strong testing fundamentals and hands-on experience in test automation, API testing, and mobile application testing. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of the software testing lifecycle, be comfortable debugging issues, and have practical experience working with automation frameworks such as Selenium or Playwright.

Experience in the FinTech/Banking/Financial Services domain will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for web and mobile applications.
• Build and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and/or Playwright.
• Perform API testing and validate API responses, data, and integrations.
• Conduct mobile application testing across different devices and platforms.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and sanity testing.
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot and debug application issues to identify the root cause of failures.
• Collaborate closely with Developers, Product Managers, and other QA Engineers to ensure product quality.
• Participate in test planning, test case reviews, and release validation.
• Maintain and improve existing automation frameworks and test suites.
• Analyze test results and provide clear reports on application quality and defects.
• Contribute to improving QA processes, test coverage, and overall product reliability.

Required Skills

• 1–4 years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance.
• Strong understanding of QA processes, SDLC, STLC, and software testing methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium and/or Playwright.
• Practical experience in API testing using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar.
• Experience with mobile application testing.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Good understanding of SQL/database testing is preferred.
• Familiarity with Git/version control and basic CI/CD concepts is an advantage.
• Good understanding of defect management and tools such as Jira or similar.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred

• Experience in the FinTech / Banking / Payments / Financial Services domain.
• Experience working with automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of performance, security, or integration testing.
• Experience testing applications across multiple browsers, devices, and operating systems.

BE/BTech – Mandatory
