About Me

I worked in N.T.P.C. Ltd. From October 2009 to November 2010. N.T.P.C. Ltd. is the Leading Power Producer of India (and Asia too, as Independent Power Producer) and largely government owned. I worked there as a Structural Designer, where I designed 2... Producer) and largely government owned. I worked there as a Structural Designer, where I designed 2*660 MW Thermal Power Plant Structures (Mostly Heavy Steel Structures). During the initial training period I stood 1st out of 50 Executive Engineers, from all over India. I brought many good practices in the area of Structural Dynamics and Earthquake Engineering, to the Design Group I was associated with. I wrote Computer Programs in VBA with Graphical User Interface to Automate the Process of Structural Design. It brought down the design time of Heavy members from 30 minutes (by hand calculation) to less than 3 minutes, and I am happy about this contribution towards the organisation.
