Description

The biggest Brazilian Institution in charge of the Seasonal Credits to the Agriculture & Food Supply Chains in the Country had the need to better process the big amount of Credits each year grants to a great variety of Customers across the Brazilian territory.

The biggest complexity was the high number of variables than must be combined to assess the Risk, the type of vegetables, the market prices, the weather predictions, the historic credit score and many other factors for each Customer, as well as the amount to be loan.

The Solution was to use a mix of Methodologies, Technologies, Techniques and Tools to reduce the Authorization time from 10 days to 5 minutes and include more than 500 real-time data variables instead of 50 making Risk significant lower.

We use a Data Governance (Data Quality) Solution, IoT Data, Cloud Computing and Data Streaming from different Weather Sattellites helping us Predict the ROI of the Harvest based on current Market Futures Prices of the products Internationally.
