FIS Trading is an application that deals with the booking of the deals such as Bonds. The trading is done based on the information provided by the Reuters Server. The interest rates are based on the LIBOR (LONDON INTERBANK OFFERED RATE). The project deals with four modules. The Front Office, Back Office, Maintenance and Reports modules. The Front Office module is where the deal is booked and authorized. The Back Office is where the settlement is done. The Maintenance module is where the portfolio and the security maintenance are done based on the issuer. And the Reports module is where the EOD & ONLINE reports are generated based on the request that is provided by the user.

Dealing 3000 is an interface, which is developed to capture the deal information from the Reuters server and update the database, based on the type of deal that is done. This interface replaces the manual intervention of inputting the deal details to the TCON database.

TCON is for booking the deals from the front end and backOffice for processing the deals and revert back the confirmation messages.

Eclipse provides the System response times for the local users at the stores to be minimal. The local user may want to perform Sale, Payment, Refund, Stock, Cash Management and Reports. The Systems Response times between the central server and the clients must enable all the functions to be performed within acceptable timescales. Eclipse provides the sales status and the sales history from the XML Objects that are created for every sales transaction. Eclipse provides the continuous sales for the stores. It provides the data for every transaction that is done.
