The GBS Ticketing tool will comprise of a single platform built using SharePoint 2010 for requesters and support teams to interact with each other. The application primarily allows two types of requests to flow across. There will be provision for operating of two support teams in this application – L1 and L2. While Service Requests get routed through single level of support (L2), Issue Requests have the option to get past through the intervention of both levels (L1 and L2). Each of the support team comprises of several agents headed by one Supervisor. At their respective levels, it is the job of the Supervisor to assign the request created by requester to one of the agents mapped within the same group. Towards providing the resolution for a request, at any given time, support agents can request additional information from the requester while requester is vested upon the right to reopen a closed request if not satisfied with the resolution provided.
