Description

· As a Senior Developer, part of team to deliver Custom Wallet solution to US leading Bank. Which includes connect with various stake holders. This mostly includes server handshake, various web security as per OWASP 10, PCI compliance is must, other concepts like authentication, authorization, encryption using various techniques in Agile Development model.

· We have 2 components, web portal (Users) and admin portal (Super Users, Bank admin). Exposed through Restful APIs. Mocked data/API using Swagger and MongoDB.

Description

· As Module Lead on a new Java Batch solution to allow for the introduction of straight through processing of new business applicants as a part of “UK Pension Freedom”. Role involves designing a number of scheduled Batch applications that uses SOA based services. This project was very critical to Client, if failed it would have huge impact on its customers. But our team was able to implement the solution is less than 7 month window with Zero Defect and highest code quality.

· Awarded “STAR of the month” thrice in year.

· With BA, SA team being “Co-Located” at onshore, while Java Development team being “Distributed” onshore/offshore following Agile was another challenge, but it was very fruitful work. It required delegation of task to 2 offshore and 1 onshore developer.

· Frameworks involved Spring Core, DAO, AOP, MVC, Groovy, IBM Compute Grid Batch, Grails framework.

· QA of code for releases and supporting all phase of test process including end-user support during User Acceptance Testing. Extensive use of JUnits and mocks to ensure code coverage as these matrices were used as a part of Jenkins Continuous Integration build.

· Worked/Implemented Business Services (similar to Web Services) build on SOADA (built on IBM SOA) platform which uses JAXB, Liquid and/or Castor based XML parsing. Part of Fortify Team to work on security.

· JIRA Admin to setup project and manage work in Agile/Scrum

· Also learnt and developed code using SCALA, around 3-4 months of experience so far.
