FogLAMP is an IOT platform designed specifically for industrial use cases. It provides a scalable, secure, robust infrastructure for collecting data from sensors, processing data at the edge and transporting data to historian and other management systems. FogLAMP can operate over the unreliable, intermittent and low bandwidth connections often found in IoT applications.

FogLAMP is implemented as a collection of microservices that include:

• Core services, including security, monitoring, and storage

• Data transformation and alerting services

• South services: Collect data from sensors and other FogLAMP systems

• North services: Transmit data to historians and other systems

• Edge data processing applications

FogMan is the centralized FogLAMP management platform wherein you can add/auto discover all the FogLAMP’s running in your infrastructure, auto import its configuration, monitor its health, the ingress/egress data, update configuration, schedules and rollout the changes immediately or schedule it for a later time.

SE&SE project deals with the Sustainability, Environment and Safety Engineering aspect of the automobile manufacturing and usages like CO2 and other greenhouse gases emission, life of vehicle, recyclability percentage, parts composition analysis, warranty claims etc. My responsibilities were to design an application which will bridge the requirement of Ford company with their suppliers meaning, Ford has their pre-defined standards(in compliance with the legal requirement) which define the threshold limit of any particular component in a part. When a supplier submits the part composition data into the application, the application will run a background check whether that part complies with the pre-defined standards. Only if it passes those checks, the parts will be accepted and the supplier will be allowed to proceed further else the part will be rejected with the reason as “Compliance failure”. Another application which I have worked on deals with the warranty claims and their pattern. Based on these patterns, it was decided if there is a need for a callback for any particular type of vehicle batch.

In this project, I have worked on network administration and reporting tool which deals with the health check of various network devices and components and raise an alarming signal in case of any network device not working as expected. Also, this application is used for metrics generation and reporting purpose like what was the overall uptime or downtime for particular network devices, what were the most frequent issues and how to resolve it permanently.

Another application which I worked on deals with the server change and upgrade management, that is, if there is any server which needs to be upgraded, this application will shut down the associated switches and hubs during the time the server is undergoing the upgrade.

• Wrote well-tested code for various projects like GMIR & MATS using PERL, Javascript, Ajax, CGI, SQL and Oracle
• Worked on UI screens using Javascript for client side data validation
• Prepared test plans and test cases based on requirement documents for SE & SE suites of application
• Built, tested and deployed scalable, highlyavailable application modules
• Modified existing software to correct errors, adapt to new hardware and improve performanceand resolve legacy issues
• Wrote and implemented scripts to enhance user experience.
